Client had a decent site running on WordPress, but not optimized for conversion and the design needed improvements.
As the company was developing its tech platform, this was the main focus and the marketing activities were not a top priority.
In terms of content marketing the company had produced some content, but it was not SEO optimized, and tested some ad campaigns that didn’t deliver the expected results.
The objective was to create a strong organic presence and attract more organic traffic.
Improving the Content Strategy
The initial project involved creating a strong content strategy for brand awareness and optimizing the existing content.
Even if the content strategy was created and delivered, its implementation was postponed due to technical issues that appeared with the platform and budget constraints.
Just the keyword mapping and on-page SEO for existing blogs were implemented.
In the end, this turned out to be a very small optimization project, but it’s worth noting that it generated interesting results with the existing content, without further content creation.
In the Next 6 Months, the Organic Traffic Increased by 277.55%
It’s worth noting that the client’s website had a domain authority of 0 at the time and they were active in a crowded content marketing niche.
I crafted the content strategy and worked on the existing content by properly structuring the content and optimizing it according to the current best practices for on-page SEO.
Just this action was implemented and no further actions were taken in terms of content for the next six months. During this interval, the traffic evolved compared with the precedent one from 588 organic traffic to 2,220 which is a considerable result in these exact conditions.
The Organic Traffic Increased by 40.74% the Following Month After the Optimization
Just the action of assigning correct keywords to the existing content, restructuring it, and implementing the on-page SEO best practices, improved the rankings of already indexed content.
The organic traffic jumped from 162 to 228 the next month after the optimization.
